Setup Checklist
- Open Nook Focus and grant Screen Time authorization when prompted.
- Create at least one enabled focus schedule.
- Use Blocked Apps to choose apps or categories through Apple's picker.
- Use Blocked Sites to add explicit domains such as
example.com. - Wait for an active schedule or start a near-term schedule to test blocking.
Website Blocking Notes
Nook Focus does not use a Safari blocking extension in App Store builds. Scheduled website blocking uses Apple's Screen Time web-content filtering for domains you add in Blocked Sites. The app does not read browser history, page contents, or network traffic.
Common Questions
Can Nook Focus see what I visit?
No. The app stores your configured domains and applies blocking rules without collecting visited URLs or page content.
Can I pause blocking?
Yes. The app supports short deliberate pauses and resumes scheduled blocking automatically when possible.
